organisation composed of photojournalists and wedding photographers
from around the world. What sets its members apart in the industry is
their candid, documentary approach, a distinctly artistic vision
towards wedding photography.
WOULD YOU TRUST YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY TO JUST ANYONE? Membership in the WPJA depends entirely on photojournalists meeting the WPJA's high standards for inclusion. One cannot simply pay their way into the WPJA.

In simple terms wedding photojournalism tells the story of your wedding day, not dictates it for you. Its perfect for us as we stand back and observe beautiful people, fabulously dressed in amazing locations having fun. Perfect.
As wedding photojournalists our aim is to discretely photograph every natural moment of your day, from the getting ready through to the first dance. The tiniest glances between bride and groom during the service to the full blown dance action. Then present you with a beautiful album full of genuine moments.

"Journalism that presents a story primarily through the use of pictures".
Wedding photojournalism should really try to capture images that show more than the surface layer of your event. They should also express emotion, intricate details and combine to tell the story of your day.
When you look back at wedding photojournalism the pictures will evoke the emotion of your day. It will all come flooding back, the joy, the tears and the anticipation.
